Tabulet Octa review

Tabulet Octa is the newest product from Tabulet, designed in 8 inch display and uses ARM A8 1 GHz processor. Looks like they ready to play with tablet pc market with  bundle it in reasonable price which is about IDR 2.7 million.

Body and Design

Tabulet Octa has a shape that tend to a square and this tablet has 8" display that really comfort for browsing. besides that, it equipped with digital buttons in the front side of the tablet and also one VGA camera in the front. Overall this tablet made with a quality plastic.

Buttons such power button, SD card slot, HDMI, mini USB gathered in one side, gathered in right side (landscape) of the tablet.

In the rear side, there's a Tabulet logo, a 2 MP camera and also equipped with one pair of speaker.

Interface

Octa's interface can be used in any side, or can be 360 degree rotated. The interface categorized as standard interface. At the home screen part, there composed application with 4 x 4 column formation.
The display doesn't look so sharp and also not too bright.

Messaging

Even this tablet equipped with 3G GSM modem, but this tablet doesn't support messaging/SMS. But E-mail feature integrated to ease to access to your e-mail account.

Camera

The camera a bit disappointing, the image is not sharp and not bright. But if we remembering  the price of the tablet not really expensive, it still worthy

Gallery

Tabulet Octa uses Android's 3D gallery. You can pinch and zoom in the photo gallery. And it only can share the photo through e-mail only.

Music Player

The music player of this tablet is the mainstay of this tablet, supports by 2 speakers that produces high quality sound. Effects such as bass, treble and else really felt at all. Really good point on this tablet.

Browser

Pinch and zoom works well in browser. Sometimes a bit lag but still classified as fair and comfy to use. Browsing felt so comfy and easy because the display is large.

Power

The durability of the battery of this tablet is pretty good, it is about 2500 mAh or 2700 mAh. It can stand up for 18-20 hours for normal use.
