Review: Glee Third Season...So far.

Holding up for 2 weeks having no premieres of my favorite TV show is a painful thing, aside from how hyperbole the previous sentence was. It was Glee, a TV show aired on FOX USA that got me going on for the last 2 years having such demand from myself that might be equal for it's 10 million viewers debut episode. It was the attractive storyline about kids in American high school that faces problems and solving it through music they made in a vocal group and called themselves New Directions. And it was the shining casts like Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, and Chris Colfer who were the perfect fit since the show starts in 2009.

This post somehow focuses on the last/current 3 episodes of its third season which makes me feel like reviewing it in the next paragraphs. The story has been going on very far from their freshmen year in the previous seasons, the recap is, the New Directions are struggling through split ups and quits from their shining star Mercedes Jones, Brittany Pearce, and Santana Lopez, in the same time that they're coming back for sectionals after flailing down in last year's nationals.

It was the new colors added to the show that gain my interest in having this show running for at least 2 years ahead. The new bombs are the winners of The Glee Project (a reality show that auditioned people to play in Glee for 8 episodes, and 2 for the runner ups), Lindsay Pearce and Damian McGinty, with Samuel and Alex to follow throughout the next episodes coming. It was the characterization of the new guys that nearly caught me dead in excitement. In the second episode of the third season, it was Lindsay that came off as a Rachel Berry-killer as her rival to get into the NYADA in New York, the blinding expression and the stunningly beautiful voice of her during a scene in the episode that first caught my attention in "I Am Unicorn" episode. And the next was the Irish, Damian McGinty, with his bright characterization and one soft voice, this kid gain my attention through his singing in the episode "Pot O' Gold", the song "Take Care of Yourself" makes everyone would feel like saying "he's magical" like Rachel Berry does.

The song selection is a perfection so far, from Katy Perry's "Last Friday Night", mash up song of Adele's "Rumor Has It/Someone Like You", until classic numbers from Westside Story like "Cool" that is sung by the rarely singing Mike Chang during the audition of the school's musical of the same title, Westside Story, in the episode "The First Time". Somehow, the greatness of Glee is shown in the best 5 starting episode of the season which goes to this third season. Every character is growing, while few of them is also glowing.

If I was required to put the current episodes of Glee to few words, i knew i couldn't. The speechlessness came every time i try to speak after watching each episode of the third season. The show is running through its 7th episode which will be premiered next week, and more interesting offer coming in the next few months, the classic christmas episode will also featured in the season and such more amazing songs to come. The ending of the sixth episode is a mystery and something to be questioned in the next few days before the seventh premiered. I could make you annoyed by spoiling the story so far but i wouldn't dare. Sorry to rant so much because this show is rad and getting radder each and every week.

The next 20 episodes ahead would be much perfect if this all stays constantly awesome. The obsessive Rachel, the charismatic Finn, the weird behaved Puck and Quinn, the competitor Troubletones, the stunning Kurt and Blaine with their delightful styles of outfits, the struggling Mercedes, and the magical Rory, also the upcoming finalists of Glee Project, I want you all to make this the best year of Glee.
